Working in someone else's 189,000-star codebase is a different discipline from working in your own. The fix has to be small, it has to be obviously correct to a reviewer who has never seen you before, and it has to survive review rounds where the maintainer knows things about the architecture that you do not.
PR #325077 — debug exception peek view
The Copy and Close toolbar actions in the debug exception peek view rendered flush against the title text instead of right-aligned at the widget edge. A CSS layout bug: visible to anyone who hit an exception while debugging, invisible in the code unless you went looking for which rule was not applying.
Merged into main after maintainer review.
PR #326917 — chat panel implicit context
A bug in the Chat panel's implicit-context attachment logic: a PR or file suggestion that had already been attached could reappear after a provider refresh, so the same context showed up twice.
The fix went through several rounds of maintainer review, and the substance of those rounds was reworking how identity is matched — a string-based context and a file-based context are not comparable the way the original logic assumed, and the first version of the fix papered over that rather than addressing it. Currently in active review.
