Who is Sid
I am Siddharth Mehta (Sid here). I am a graduate computer science student at Arizona State University, drawn to AI and machine learning and backend engineering. This site is where I turn what I study and build into something you can actually use: clear explanations, honest trade-offs, and work I am willing to put my name on.
What I care about
Two threads run through almost everything I do. First, technology that holds up under scrutiny. systems you can reason about, test, and improve, whether that is a model, an API, or a protocol. Second, education that respects the reader. I believe the best way to know something is to explain it, no performance of expertise, no hand-waving. If I cannot say it simply, that is a signal to understand it better not to pile on jargon.
What I have been building
My projects span what I find worth going deep on: applied ML (for example, phishing detection with recurrent architectures), full-stack and game-distribution work, blockchain experiments in Solidity, and smaller tools and sites that keep my craft honest. I treat each repository as a record of decisions. what worked, what did not, and what I would do differently next time. What you will find here
Learn with Sid is my public notebook and my brand home base: ideas I stand behind, written so someone else can follow without needing my context. I care about structure, skimmability, and sources. Some topics may get video when voice and motion carry more than text, but the default is always writing I would be proud to revisit a year from now.
